We just finished a 11 day cruise with the Infinity. In spite of a gastrointestinal outbreak during the cruise which changed some of the normal protocols, the ship, and the service was impeccable. We have taken over 30 cruises and this was one of the best. Some taking this class of ship should do so recognizing that if you are the Infinity it does not inclement rock climbing walls, and roller coasters. We had a Royal suite for this cruise and the service from our butler, Izzy and room attendant Rodel was exemplary. The food: The Luminae was very good, with a good selection of choices. Sushi on 5 was delightful and we went there multiple times. The lounge entertainment was one area that could use some improvement. While the Infinity is an older ship it is being very well maintained. This was our second cruise on the Infinity and we will do it again.
The Infinity is showing its age, especially our cabin bathroom, but overall, the ship is well maintained and clean. We noticed that common area furnishings had been replaced since we cruised on this ship in December 2023. Our state room attendant, service desk staff, and all dining staff, provided outstanding service, exceeding our expectations. The food was good, especially in the main dining room. We enjoyed the entertainment. There were non-stop activities, with our favorite being the ABBA sing-along dance party. We would have preferred two days at one of the Greek Island ports, versus two days at Istanbul, but do realize this is a personal preference. We booked through Delta Cruises, and the fare included the classic drink package and basic internet. The basic internet met our needs to check email and send messages. We took advantage of a Celebrity Christmas Eve offer to upgrade our classic drink package to the premium drink package, allowing us to enjoy wonderful specialty coffees, teas, fresh fruit drinks & smoothies, multiple types of branded premium waters, and premium alcohol. At $19 plus 20% gratuity for a premium cocktail, or premium wine, the premium drink package worked to our advantage (again, a personal preference). This cruise line is LGBT friendly. This was our 4th cruise with Celebrity in the past 16 months, and we look forward to cruising on their newest ship, the Xcel, next year.
We loved everything about the ship, the itinerary, the staff, entertainment, headliners and, of course, the food. Boarding was a breeze. If you do not like the huge ships, the Infinity is for you. Perfect size, easy to navigate and plenty to do. We chose Anytime dining. We never made a reservation. Instead, we just showed up at the Main Dining Room when we were ready to eat and we never waited more than ten minutes to be seated. Some nights we sat with others and some nights we requested a table for two. Whenever we meet first time cruisers the one thing we always recommend is that they do not miss any of the shows in the theater. On our cruise the entertainment was spectacular. Our cruise director - Sarah was high energy, personable and never came across as being fake. There were three major production shows and all three were Vegas worthy. Our favorite headliners were Adam Barry and an incredible female artist - Tabitha. They each did two high energy shows during the cruise and we made sure to be at both. We look forward to our next cruise on the Infinity.

Kids and Teen Programs - The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
